Put AI to work in your day-to-day operations
Freedom Consulting Group helps small and mid-size companies find the work AI can take off their people’s plates — then deploys it. We measure what that work costs you today, build the fix, and show you the difference in your own numbers.
A 30-minute call. If there is nothing here worth doing, we will tell you that.
Who we work with
Companies that run on process, not software
Field service, manufacturing, distribution, construction, professional services. One-person shops through five-thousand-person companies. Work that moves through spreadsheets, email threads, and one person’s memory.
- Someone retypes the same data into three different systems.
- Quotes sit for days because one person has to touch every one.
- The schedule lives in a photo of a whiteboard on somebody’s phone.
- You bought a tool last year. Nobody uses it.
If two of those sound familiar, there is probably an hour a day sitting in there.
What we do
We deploy AI. We don’t develop it.
There is a real difference. Developing AI means building models. Deploying it means taking tools that already work and fitting them to how your company runs — your forms, your terminology, your handoffs, your people. The fitting is the job.
Find the work worth doing
An AI readiness assessment that looks at your actual processes, not your tech stack. You get a short list, ranked by hours saved against difficulty.
Build it into the workflow
One thing at a time, inside the tools your team already opens every morning. No new system to log into unless there is a reason for it.
Hand it over
We document how it works, train the people who use it, and step back. The test is whether it still runs when we are not there.
How you will know it worked
Every engagement starts with a number
Before we build anything, we measure what the process costs you right now. Hours per week. Days per quote. Rework rate. Whatever the honest measure is for that piece of work.
That number is the baseline. When the deployment ships, we measure the same thing the same way, and you get a before-and-after in writing.
It is written so that someone who was not in the room can repeat the measurement and get the same answer. If a result only holds when we explain it, it is not a result.
Baseline
We measure the current process before a single change is made.
Deploy
We build and install the fix, with your people using it.
Measure again
Same metric, same method, documented side by side.
What you keep
You own everything we build
The workflows, the prompts, the documentation, the accounts. Yours outright the day the engagement ends.
No license. No per-seat fee. No switch we can turn off. If you never call us again, everything we built keeps running — and your team knows how it works, because we wrote it down and showed them.
Where this comes from
Operations first, AI second
We came up through operations, not through software. Field work first, then the systems side of getting jobs out the door — scheduling, estimating, and the paperwork that quietly decides whether a job makes money.
That is the reason this work sticks. The hard part of AI inside a real company is not the model. It is the process it has to live in, and whether a busy person will still use it on a Tuesday afternoon.
Straight answers
Questions we get first
Where do we start with AI?
With a process, not a product. Pick the work that eats the most hours and has the clearest rules, and start there. Most companies start by shopping for a tool, then look for a problem it fits. That order is backwards, and it is why so much of this stalls.
Do we need technical people on our team?
No. Most writing about AI adoption for small business quietly assumes you have a data team. You do not need one. You need the people who actually do the work to be available for a few conversations, and someone who can approve a decision.
What does an engagement cost?
Scope-based, quoted per engagement, agreed in writing before anything starts. There is no price list, because a two-person shop and a two-thousand-person company are not the same job. What we will not do is bill by the hour and let the meter run.
What if you look and find nothing worth doing?
Then we say so and you keep your money. That is a real outcome and it happens. A short honest answer is worth more to you than a project that was invented to justify a fee.
What happens to what you build when the engagement ends?
It is yours. The workflows, the prompts, the documentation, the accounts — all of it transfers to you outright. There is no license, no per-seat fee, and no switch we can turn off.
